AI Script Causing Lag (0.1 fps)

EDIT: food cap to 90 seems to solve the problem but that is ashame since this is a 300 food cap map.

Around 3-4 mins in, with having AI players, FPS drops and game becomes unplayable. I confirmed it is the AI script causing lag and not some other trigger. Anyone have any tips?

I know I'm potentially asking a lot so I don't really expect anyone to respond.

Edit: I'm reading elsewhere that AI will crash if food goes over 106? Is that true?
