My antivir detects a virus from an advert on hiveworkshop h t t p : / / w w w 1 .firesavez5.com/ (Unclickable because of virus)

Please, for gods sake, remove it.

If you're going to delete the Ads you might as well delete Hive.

I did not say delete all, but delete the advertisements from that server.
You get virus automatically when the advertisements gets loaded because it automatically opens the URL.

I made the link bugged so you can't actually visit the site but ralle still knows the link.
The site is marked as virus page. It's not AntiVir fault.

I just want Ralle to remove the adverts that give you viruses.

I can't use firefox on schools, you know.
At home no problem, I have firefox, a lot of antivirus and firewalls and tons more ad blockers and such.

Don't use school computers. Their mostly shitty, do not possess sufficient protection and very bad in general.
It is really your problem if the ads are bad for you when you work on a school computer.

Most schools in Germany have below-average equipment and most installers of those do not know what is best for them.

Anyway, I really don't like the fact that hiveworkshop has virus advertisements.

Yeah, we had that before and before. If you use a save computer the ads are safe. If you do not the ads are bad, because the unsafe computer is so full of virus that they spread everywhere.
Case solved. These ads are safe.

Plus currently we have only those Tribalfusion that are 100% harmless and contain only American social advertisements and those under the dwonload link that are safe too.

You might want to try a portable edition of Firefox if you have problems installing the regular Firefox into school computers.

Portable applications don't require any installation to a computer, and you can simply store them in a USB harddrive or a CD, so you can run them on every school computer.

Good idea DvO, but some teachers in Germany do not allow to add an external medium to the computer, because it might spread viruses.

If you want to get rid of ads (since all people complain liek "Ralle, can't you put ads somewhere else, not there! It is easy to accidentally click on it") get the best adblocker called "Adblock plus"

I did, adblock plus removes any ads. So anti-virus, I guess, won't detect any ad as virus cause they won't see any ad.

In the end it all runs down to what you should not do, rather than what Hive needs to do in order to make what you shouldn't do easier for you.

People, we discovered that it's not a Hive problem, but that computer you are using has a ad changing virus. So technically, this thread should be moved from Hive discussion to Computer Discussion. This where we decide Hive related things, and this problem is related to your school's PCs only...

You do realise that having multiple antiviruses is no better than having one good one and only slows down your system dramatically, right?
