adding protraits

(I'm going to base this on getting a Footman portrait)


  1. Use an MPQ Opener to open War3.mpq. (You could also use War3 Model Editor for this, which is what I'm using right now)
  2. Go to Units/Human/Footman/Footman_Portrait.mdx.
  3. Extract it to the folder or place where your custom model is.
  4. Rename the file to YourCustomModelName_Portrait.mdx
Note* I'm not sure, but I think your portrait should have the same file extension as your custom model

I think that's about it... (You could also edit it if you want to make it look more like your custom model I guess)
