Adding an ability to an item

Go to Items under "object editor", copy any item, and on the top of the page there is a line called "abilities - abilities", click on it, and a window appears on wich you can add any abilities you want.

If the item has only passive abilities (auras and such), look until you find "actively used", and set it to false. If you want to use the item (like potions), set it to true.

Find your item in the object editor then find the "actively used" field and change it from false to true and your item will work.

You can also consider changing the cooldown group for your item.

Not meant as offense, but plz do not repeat things other have posted without quotation or if they have been marked as false.

My mistake, I didn't read your post, but this was the only thing that could cause the problem. I only read the last post and answered for that, so don't get so aggressive.

Maybe his problem is that he's trying to add it to an item using triggers? If so, instead of adding the ability, just replace the item with one with the same icon and tooltips, but extra abilities.
