Is there someway to create an active orb of lightning unit skill?
To be exact, I'm trying to create an attack-spell that deals damage based on the unit's actual damage, is unit-targeted, has a cooldown and a manacost. The sub-effect, if that attack hits, is a slow, based on the human sorceress Slow spell. So far I've made the ability as a 100% chance hitting Orb of Lightning (new), and changed the effect to the wanted one. Problem is, the skill itself works passively on attacks (if the cooldown and manacost conditions are met), while I want the user to be able to use it whenever he wants.
Please don't go posting ideas if you're 'just guessing' or 'havent tried it myself but mb it works', I have enough guesses and failed tries myself.
