a simple trigger question

ok so I made a trigger that should kill anyone I select by Typing "smite" but it doesn't work.....


Event
Player - Player 1 (Red types a chat message containing Smite as an exact mach

Conditions

Action
Unit - Kill (Picked unit)


What did i do wrong?

Picked unit is response to trigger:

• Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units in (Playable map area)) and do (Actions)

U should make a trigger
event - player select a unit
action - Set <variable> = triggering unit

Event
Player - Player 1 (Red) types a chat message containing Smite as an exact mach

Conditions

Action
Unit - Kill <Variable>(unit)

• Events
  • Player - player1 types smite as an exact match
• Conditions
• Actions
  • Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Unit currently selected by Player1) and do (kill Picked Unit)
