A question about the newgen editor

I noticed it has a few options to merge data such as object editor data which would be really nice in copying 200 abilities when you already have like 300 especially for bonus mod systems. However I can't figure it out and whenever I click on one of the drop-down options it refuses to work. I click yet nothing happens, wondering if anyone managed to get it working?
