Hello to all at Hive Workshop, members and moderators alike!
Although my account is new, I'm not new to this site. I've searched this site many times for various maps, models, etc. and I finally decided to become a member of HW.
Now, onto my question:
I'm currently developing a map in which there are planet-units and star-units. I've written a trigger to simulate the orbit of a planet around a star, but it only half works.
It is supposed to move each planet in the planetary (unit) group [x] around star [x] every .1 seconds.
While it does move all the planets around the star, it gets stuck at ~180 deg. and will bounce between ~179 deg. and ~181 deg.
If I try to set the starting angle of the planet in relation to the star higher than 180, it will revert to 90 deg.
Please share any useful information.
