Every time I close Firefox, all my cookies get deleted. According to the options, the browser is supposed to preserve the cookies until they loose validity, but for some reason it keeps deleting them. I have no idea what is causing the problem, perhaps it's just me being a noob with settings.

Can anyone with a little FF knowledge lend a hand?

(Note: I'm not switching to another browser.)

I've switched to some other browser a long time ago so I'm not sure if it's possible anymore to navigate to "about:config", use "cookies" as string in filter textbox, go to "privacy.clearCookiesOnExit" (or something) and set its value to "false".

You can also change "cookie.lifetime" (if I remember correctly)
