I signed up to Wc3c before I ever came here. As far as I know I am still in lurker status. I cannot post, PM, email, etc. There is nothing I can do. The resources that you have to sign in to download without problem, I still have to change page. I like the resources but the site has little to no activity that I can see.

I first thought The Hive was some BS site run by an n00b with nothing of value. When I actually looked at it, I signed up straight away and now I rarely use wc3c. Every few months, I go to see what new tools and spells they have, but that is about it.

We shouldn't merge the sites because as far as I can tell, the moderators of wc3c would stop everyone that has less than 200 rep from doing anything because they are not up to their standards.

I base my opinions on how I was received at wc3c. These are the only impressions and experiences I have to work with in regards to wc3c.

I was wondering why the two sites don't just unite. Must be a power-control thing.

We are two VERY seperate websites.

Warcraft 3 Campaigns is home to the elite of everything in wc3 modding, whilst the Hive is for everyone. We each have our own domain, and a bit of friendly competition spurs us all to do better. Hell, a few of our moderators are also moderators at WC3C and many of our users visit both sites, so we practically have united.

The only reason that we merged with Wc3Sear.ch, however, was because it was dying and they needed someone to pick it up. We had the space, the bandwidth, and our ideals were the same, so we took a dying wc3sear and absorbed it into what you see today :)

hive... well if I say what I think about hive you'd edit my post anyway, so I'll don't say it now

anyway, Arcane.pl is greater than Wc3campaigns and Hive combined together ;)

Hmmmz....would the HIVE be improved with a Dawn Of War subsection?.....Anyways back on topic.

Wc3c was my first site, I was fortunate enough to seal my status with the High Elf buildings...But then I found the HIVE, and I have been here ever since. I visit wc3c every now and again.

T'was merely a question. I was simply wondering if it would be a good idea, seeing as how Dawn Of War has high modability, modeling capabilities, skinning capabilities, and it would increase the HIVE's wrap around for different games (thus keeping it alive when Warcraft3 dies...aside form SC2)

But back ontopic then....wc3c compared to HIVE....hmmz.
