(Assuming WC3C is wc3campaigns.net)
I absolutely love the Hive. I was on wc3c before this. I was never allowed to post, don't know why. I couldn't even change my profile.

The Hive has a friendly atmosphere and is user friendly in design. I feel everyone is equal and even those who state that they are better are knowledgable of their equality. It is a fun place to have a discussion and really helps with mapping. wc3c seems a bit, how do I say this, anti-n00b. It isn't really a nice place to visit and it takes forever to load (could be the mirror that i use). It does have some fantastic resources, like the borderizer (I think i got it there.) I don't like saying nasty things, but they are true.

Hive, but like Elenai, I joined WC3C first, and I got a fairly warm welcome except for one person, and he(or she) is lucky I have forgotten who they are!
But I like the Hive, because it is overall better, and doesn't have all that elitism factor, but the resources at WC3C are definetly held to a much higher quality.

Hmm, I prefer the Hive because it is more active. Wc3c seems a bit dead...

Also, they seem to have something wrong with the forum configuration there. For example:
http://wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=97099
I made a post at the end of that topic, but I can only see it when logged in. It's invisible if I view the forum as a guest. What's up with that? :eekani:

I like the Hive website design more! I find wc3c a tad ugly. The hive has more activity. The Hive is Alive!

The Hive has benefits: I enjoy the non-elitist environment, the nice staff position, etc

Campaigns however, is really great, because if you are the best, or if you are leading in some area of Wacraft modding, then this is the place you should be. The Hive is a home for everyone, Campaigns is a home for the best.

Bees are not the only things that make hives. Also, Beehive can be a hairstyle, maybe Ralle has 'interesting' hair.

If this is based off a behive, then our maps must certainly be honey.
Yes, but the models and other resources are the nectar, and us bees care more about the nectar than the honey =P.

I'd honestly say Wc3C over Hive, because of the quality resources, maps and users. I've never used a resource from Hive, but I've used dozens from wc3c only because I feel it's easier to find great quality over there rather than looking through a huge database of (in majority) 'bad-quality' resources here.

I mean seriously, you have to admit that there is a huge quality difference. I'd be surprised that any good jasser here (Except DSG) doesn't use JassNewGenPack (assembled/created by the members at Wc3C). There are probably loads more examples.

The Tyranids, google them.

I think you are forgetting about the Hive Worlds where billions of people live in extremely dense urban situations. The Imperial Hive worlds are basically covered with units/flats/apartments to the pouint where the radius if the world has had to be redefined because of all the construction. Go to wikipedia and read the lore of Warhammer 40000.

In the grim darkness of the future, there is no respite, no forgiveness, there is only WAR!!

Poot, yeah, and a couple others that contributed to JNGP aswell as the dude who made JassCraft (I forgot who ^_^).

What's so nice about THW forums? Repeating the same thing over and over again to 6 year old noobs that don't understand anything? I think not.

Are you serious? Wc3c has almost no maps and even those are not that good and fun to play. Only technical perfectionism like jass, complex system, board game remakes does not make a good map.

And the name of this website indicates what it lacks. Many wh40k models and especially maps! The (decent) only map about it is already TD, which does not have truly a feeling of the wh40k universe.

I like the non-elitism factor.

Don't forget you were a noob once too ;)

And did Zoxc actually work on it? [I named Pipe cause it's Grimoire that tends to be used]

And also, you don't have to answer questions if you don't want to... you can do other things on the forum too -.-

Oh, I actually know what the Tyranids are. I love them, favorite race. I also think it's so stupid they are not in Dawn of War.

The reason I've seen is that the current game engine can't handle a realistic Tyranid force, so they'd have to seriously nerf their numbers to render them in game, which'd spoil them. If Dawn of War 2 comes out, perhaps, but in Soulstorm, it's Dark Eldar and probably Inquisition.

You're asking which one is better... on the Hive... do you honestly think you're going to get an unbiased response?

Actually.. I don't think the comments are biased, they are spoken of through experience. I, for one, was directed to wc3sear.ch through Pay123 and was just blown away from all of the resources. It was the first site i went to for my needs and i didn't have any reason to go elsewhere. I have recently gone to Wc3c for the first time but did not check out the forums.

To be frank, i thought i was going to get banned by shados after my 3rd of 4th post. I was getting the feeling that the mods here were tight-wads but i was wrong, and have since been reading an excessive amount of cusswords which had put my suspicion to rest :p

I was wondering why the two sites don't just unite. Must be a power-control thing.

I wish there were more knowledgable people willing to help, though. Wherever those people gather, no matter how crappy the site, that's where a following will gather... Not to imply that such assistance isn't here.

I thing Hive is better because, 1 it has more models. 2 it has cool people :p
On the other hand WC3C has better quality models, and effects. And I first registered to WC3C and was known as Sargeras.

I was talking about quality resources, quality maps etc... I just didn't carry the adjective, which would be redundant anyway -.-
And yes, their maps are MUCH better quality than the maps around here... That's undeniable. Just ask Earth-Fury, he's been moderating tons of maps recently.

But I wasn't an idiot.
