this morning i keep getting 404's on pages such as showthread.php, a refresh usually fixes it. And just now, i was asked to download showthread.php, as it was seemingly sent with the MIME type octet-stream.

My internet has been acting up lately, and firefox may just be being a bitch with the mimetype issue. But the 404's on valid pages aren't exactly in the domain of the client... also, dancing bacon? o_O

If thats 3:46 AM in GMT-5, then i would say thats about when the trouble started... The server was doing wierd things like that for a while. (The 404's and wrong mimetype stuff, not the dancing bacon. Thats oddly normal for this server.) Seems to have completely stoped hapening now. Back to normal and such.

Edit: This may explain things and possibly shift blame directly to firefox, or the chat room:

This happened to me on one of blizzards sites. I wanted to download some highly rated maps. (From blizzard's site) Everytime I downloaded it, I couldn't open it. I renamed it to .txt and it looked like html. So I renamed it to html and I got a website telling my blizzard's ftp server was full, and that I should wait a bit before trying again. (Lol)
