3DS Max Art Projectile

  • When a projectile is created, it runs its "birth" animation followed by its "stand" animation. Then its "death" animation is played upon impact. Name your animations accordingly.
  • Get NeoDex and export the mdx (follow the instructions/guide over there).
  • Import it into your map. Save. Then set it has the projectile art using the object editor.

Is there a simple tutorial about Art Projectile like the one you made for importing models (http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/3d-modeling-tutorials-282/how-import-custom-models-32237/)?
Or a tutorial on how to open a Art Projectile files and modify them?
