3D model search engine

Hello all, we launched a 3D model search engine, which finds 3D models on the Internet with simple keyword search. The models can be previewed right on your browser without any plugins! (Chrome and Firefox recommended).

Cool, but not related to the Hive.
Though I am not exactly sure what you've done, doesn't THREE.js support all of those formats from the start?

You actually gave me some motivation to redesign the model viewer of the Hive, so thanks for that.
I wanted to make it more of a gallery-viewer-thingy for ages, I just didn't do it.

Are you using a ported version of Assimp?

Not Assimp, we use the actual software that made the original files, Blender, Autodesk Max... etc.

I mean to parse nasty files like 3ds.
Or did you automate the process of downloading the files, and converting them to some easy format with the original software?

It can view them of course, but they are not in the search list. Soon.
Or if you mean Yobi3d, then no.

yeah, we have a filter button on the search result page. It's right next to the search box.
