Okay, so I am using world editor unlimited.

1st question
How do I modify stats through trigger so that it appears as +10 or something instead of just changing the entire value? Do I need to add abilities to the heros or something to do that?

2nd Question
Well not really related to trigger sort of, but I thought it would be okay to scrap them together here.
Is there a way to use trigger/use ability so that with the same spell you can have different buffs? What I mean is if I have 1 inner fire abil that gives the buff "power" and another 1 inner fire abil that gives the buff "defense" then is there a way so that when you cast both inner fire on 1 target both "power" and "defense" buffs are put onto the unit? (I know that inner fire can do both but just using as example)

3rd Question
Edit:NEvermind this question was stupid... all I had to do was press shift...

1- Pretty sure the only way to get a +stats would be with a skill, a passive such as attribute bonus, or an item ability.

2- im not 100% sure what your asking. if its "can i use the same base ability modified for a defense boost and an offense boost the answer yes but not on the same unit at the same time. solution is give the unit 2 skills based off 2 different abilities and create a dummy and give him the correct ability to cast on the player order him to cast and have him die. (if that's not your question ask differently)

3- im guessing on your question, but if its "how do i allow negative values, you can hold shift OR check the "allow negative real values ..." in File > Preferences

1- You need to add abilities
Well as we know you cant use different abilities for all numbers so you'll make +1 and -1 str/agi/int and make them item ability (item abilities stack when adding)
For example you are gonna add 10 strenght add +1 str 10 times

2- You want a spell to have 2 effects ?
Well for that You make a dummy unit (invisible-no attack)
You make 2 spells and give first one to your unit
So when your unit casts a spell, You create a dummy unit, give it second ability and order it to cast second ability to same target with triggers
