1. fire shield should prevent from frozen / instant release from frozen

2. do load limit up to 5 please (even if the bug stay)

3. power up symbol of fury to be worth 1000gold

It would be nice if Fire shield did more than it currently does, it's worthless skill for both classes imo, if anyone actually has anything good to say about it please, go.

Although, those frost cages are meant to be a specific kind of disable, and mages have dispel to cover cage anyway, no reason to do this really. Although if the shield buffed FR, then maybe some fire res armor could be nerfed.

Repicking and loading should be set to 1 imo. As much fun as it is being able to load and save your gold, it's ultimately still a way around a feature that I personally think is important to the game, gold loss is a sort of trade off for dying, and it only seems fair that it's roughly permanent, provided you find a reason to save.


Symbol is a pretty average skill, but 15% is a significant buff to classes like berserkers and assassins. Tbh, it's better than planeshift, which is downright awful atm.

but cooldown and lenght isnt realy good...and its only for monk as owner usefull, or?

Its just u could protect one character from being frozen for the short time the shield works without distraction

Raither use fireshild on self and dispell other, but I think this spell is more like for tanks to grant them more agro.

It could also increase fire dmg dealt and grant some ressistance against some elementals. ;)

but anyway Sorcer 7k spell sucks... its like soul strke but only after globes buff...

According to some testing done by ihazdialup I think, lightning charge is actually a good spell, one globes 3 charges, more damage output that just globes. It's good if you have a necro spamming globes on the team.


If the load bug gets fixed in 1.2 then no, one load won't mean instant bug, but something should be done about gold loss, I really think it comes down to one load per game as people wouldn't really remake for gold, but then again people might quit if they're trying to save and ruin a run. It's up to zwieb to deem a solution in the end. It's no big deal I just thought it should be considered.

Cooldown for symbol is a bit long, it would be nice if it was a permanent single target buff, you cast it on a unit, it stays on that unit for as long as the bishop keeps it on that unit.

Yeah, it does increase tank aggro. I'd keep fire shield over mana drain any day, though, fire shield could definitely use a buff.

According to ihaz, it gave him like.. 10 more dps? Tbh I'd be too lazy to alternate two skills and keep count for a mere 10 dps. Sure, I could see it being useful if you have two sorcs and one could cast lightning while the other casts globes, but it should also be more useful on its own; especially when you consider that it's 7x the price of globes, plus an addition of two mana crystals.

Honestly, I think it should be changed to two loads. One initial load, and one load after the initial, in case someone leaves a run, giving someone the opportunity to switch to something else once. That will somewhat decrease repicking for extra gold, while giving some sort of flexibility towards unreliable players.

A permanent Symbol would be sexy on a Monk. Me want, nao.

oh yeah mana drain. Goddamn now i have to get fire shield on my mages again.

Fair point on the load thing, and lol really 10 dps man. I've had no opportunity to trial the skill properly yet, since I'm always Sader/Zerker/Bishop, pretty much the only 3 classes anyone needs.

Fire shield could do with a buff, and the point about the cost of lightning is pretty solid, considering it's price and it's a class specific skill.

Well, if I remember correctly it was like 20 dps or something more, and imo it made the class mroe enjoyable main reason why I like Sorcerer is because of synergizing skills together to make a high dps. It'll be better with Water Elemental too.... Since Water Ele will be casting water globes.
