What is the campaign?
Its a hosted hive project in which you are able to play through Blizzard's campaign which a friend.
- On missions where these is only 1 hero, an extra hero is added with new abilities.
- On missions where you have a base, you now have 2!
- On most missions, each player's gold income is halved.
- For those looking for an extra challenge, the insane difficulty is added which adds new bosses, encounters, spells, AI
What's different about the 2020 project?
- 3 difficulties (normal/hard/insane) and you can change anytime
- Insane mode is harder with more custom heroes to fight
- The culling, fall of silvermoon and siege of dalaran use their reforged map data
- The save/load codes are saved to a file
- New interesting spells for most heroes
- You can stack potions/scrolls
- Tomes are tracked between levels and awarded to both players
- Hidden artifacts in every frozen throne mission
- Its all made by Spoon now!
Is it v1.32 and below Compatible?
No, but you can play using with the old project maps. WARNING: they are buggy and I no longer update them. Download the Campaign
Can I play with Classic Graphics?
There are two options:
- Play with these maps, there are some visual bugs on classic graphics, but perfectly playable.
- Play using the <1.32 maps, (using the above link). WARNING: they are buggy and I no longer update them.
How much is made so far?
Every map in the main campaign has been made now! Though, some frozen throne maps are only available to patreons as early access.

hello. me and my friend started this campaign and got to human 7th mission. but when we wanted to start 8th we saw there is no map to choose. and then we saw we got a lot of other 2player maps not showing up at all. please help
Great stuff! Currently at Undead 06... how to kill this guy?) It seems he drops a pretty nice artifact, but he is pretty much, well, unkillable. I've tried to dispell him with the wand from the shop (thinking he will recieve damage like Archimonde from wisps), but it did nothing to him.

UPD: Decided to use cheats to kill him aaand... no drop

anyone else facing the issue that you cannot save/load the maps anymore? When I load, I have the slot of my mate grayed out & no way for him to join/me to invite him.
It shouldn't be an issue related to this campaign specifically, but probably a general issue... ?
We play on insane and would like to save our progress on certain longer maps every once in a while.

Welcome to Warcraft 3 Reforged, this bug has existed ever since Reforged and got fixed like once and then broken again. Its such a shame that we still dont have a working game...If they would have left the game on the last patch before ever releasing this crap we'd have a bigger playerbase and a more active game.
I find it sad, I cant play Sunken City anymore with a friend cause the map takes like 4-6 hours in one go...
It will always be beyond me how one can outsource the development for the HIGHEST RATED AND BEST RTS OF ALL TIMES to some random company and then let it rot for years or make a "big patch" to redeem themselves that doesn't even fix the basic issues.

Therefore, I have been looking into ways of playing older versions of TFT and interestingly, any version including 1.31 is very easily accessible using the info given here. Using VPN/LAN, die-hard fans like myself could thereby still play the campaign AND save/loading longer maps.
I'm looking for the best compatibility of older map versions of this campaign and any of the tft versions mentioned above.
Has anyone of you found out, done this and could briefly guide me through? Or could the maker give a few hints and help us keep playing the campaign?

Save Load has been implemented back half a year ago. I just checked and it is still there, no longer disabled. Have you tried to load a saved game recently?
Thanks for your reply, @tulee! Sorry, I should have been more specific. The issue is not saving and loading a custom game. We face the problem we can't invite the other player in coop on the empty slot. It's grayed out so we cannot continue playing a map, the two of us. If you have any help for us, we are happy to hear
When an official classic campaign map loads an official campaign AI script: No bugs.
When a custom map loads an official campaign AI script: Workers don't repair structures.
All AI computers (purple, orange and yellow) no longer repair structures on custom maps which are based on "Gates of the Abyss", such as "2P Reforged: BElf 05".
This bug for custom maps did not exist before, some recent patch must have broken the way official campaign AI scripts are loaded/read in custom maps.
The action is: "AI - Start melee AI script for P05_YellowChaosOrc: h05x05.ai". Initialization: "Game - Preload all files listed in Scripts\HumanX05.pld.".
Structures far from fortress don't get repaired while structures near the path of workers do get randomly repaired, it's as if workers can no longer decide to repair if they are busy.
When a structure is damaged one of the fel peons mining gold is supposed to go repair, while one of the fel peons cutting lumber is supposed to go to the gold mine. The official singleplayer map Gates of the Abyss (classic campaign) doesn't have this bug.
I've revisited this yesterday, seeing that we had an update in Feb 2024. My last attempt on this was probably a bit before that. However, the same issue remains: When me and my wife try to play Human 2 map, the game starts fine, we start to do our stuff, and then suddenly one of us gets disconnected, but the other remains. A desync I suppose.
We both play in the latest patch on SD
I remember back when I had faced this issue before, I tried to tinker a bit in the editor to try to find the culprit to this. I think I got somewhere, so I might as well share here what I found.
I do have some amateur experience with the editor, and not long after taking a look, I decided to switch the enemy AI with a simple AI built using the AI editor. I created the AI respecting the custom units it uses, and not forgetting the attack waves. No hero, so that could be skipped. And then I tested it. No issues. Map played normally until the end.
After that I decided to go further to see if things could be reproduced on other maps. Human 3 played normally already, but Human 4 had the same issue as Human 2. Once again changing the AI did the trick.
At this point I assumed every map that has an active Campaign AI for any of the Computer Players will eventually crash when playing these maps with more then 1 player (Human 2 and Human 4 both have, whereas Human 1 and Human 3 don't).
So I decided to dig deeper, and read some stuff explaining the compatibility issues that were introduced with a previous patch back in 2023 IIRC. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember supposing that the Campaign AI could be using a function to target an enemy base which is prone to create a desync: as an example, in one game it would target P1's base, and in the other game it would target P2's base. That was just a theory, and then I decided to check the code, but there is where I gave up. I've never messed with the .ai files themselves, the most I've done was inside the AI editor.
Maybe that can help if this campaign gets update again, or if someone else decides to make a new one based on this.
I am enjoying playing the campaign, and I am playing it on insane with a friend. Finding all the secrets and stuff is fun. We have completed the Human campaign and are on the last mission of the Undead campaign. Thank you for making the maps I appreciate it
But Can I make a request for a version of this campaign without the Gold nerf, The full 100(Or even 200) foodcap.... And this is my personal gripe with Warcraft 3, no Ukpeep no matter the unit food level? I get that the missions are balanced around that, but man they just take away from the fun for me.
To be 100% honest Every unit costing double the food they should, and the upkeep system has always made me detest playing vanilla Warcraft and hope for a better world in which those problems were fixed. I just do not like being hobbled by those nerfs, even if they are base game "features(torture devices)".
Also I found a bug on the Human campaign where you go to save the Dwarfy boys in northrend, after destroying the Nerubian base and gain control of the Dwarf base you actually get the full 10 Gp per worker from the goldmine as Falric. Which was actually quite nice. It is probably due to them being rescued or something.
