Vertical War

This bundle is marked as lacking. It fails to meet the standard requirements and may only have minor use.
In this uniquely designed melee arena, three or four factions find themselves locked in an intense vertical conflict. Unlike traditional maps that spread players across a wide area, Vertical War stacks all players in tight vertical formation, creating one of the most aggressive and fast-paced melee experiences possible.

Each player's base is positioned directly above or below their neighbors, separated by mere moments of travel time. This extreme proximity ensures that the game begins with immediate action as players rush to establish early dominance over their vertically-aligned opponents.

Review - Vertical War
(Version September 14th 2025)
Synopsis: In the current state the map does not meet standard melee criteria, and does not function as a melee map.

Comment: Similar to your other melee map, this one does not follow the basic principles of melee map. While the concepts you have come up with (players position in a very aggressive way) can be very interesting, they must be executed flawlessly. In this map, you need to consider how important access to trees are for different races, similarly to gold mines (what happens if two night-elf players happen to entangle the same gold mine upon start).
Before you try to come up with complex and very different melee maps, my recommendation is to take a look at other, rather normal melee maps that can be considered the golden standard, and try to understand and mimic that style when you create your own first few melee maps. After that you can start to brainstorm and honing your own styles and take at uniqueness. Rated as
Lacking.
