To me, it seems it could use a retexture, as the skin isn't brown, more of a dark pink. As for the model itself, I think the orbs go up a bit higher than that. Otherwise, great model. Loving the SC2 models we're seeing on THW nowadays, and this one definitely counts as one.
Really, anything pertaining to the model's proportions I'm not going to adjust as that'd require me to re-do tons of SFX stuff. Unless I edited it in Magos and that would isntead screw up the animations. I can't make it look perfectly like the SC2 infestor, as I am limited by my polycount (being only 418) Trying to make the orbs higher can't really happen that well due to this.
As for the texture, I'm quite happy with how it looks in-game, and it not being the same color and tint of the SC2 infestor is inconsequential, in my opinion In truth, I lightened my texture because I thought it was too dark in WC3
Observe, the SC2 corruptor without all the extra maps (such as normal and specular maps)
Too bad war3 doesnt allow scaling on X,Y,Z, then you could scale it ingame. Understandable that editing the mesh would mean to start over with the rest.
Yeah, now that I see the normal infestor, I suppose this is really close to it. It just looks so different when I play; I guess it's the lighting/shading... The magical shading of StarCraft II.
Now that you show the Infestor with diffusive texture, you made it very close Yes the specular and others make it more like slime and thus different from the war3 style.
