But for the sake of variation you might say that dark doesn't necessarily be flat out dark. Like "Dark Ritual" or something. Dark magic could be "Shadow Bomb", "Raise Dead" and so on.

Light and Dark according to me. You might want to add a note that dark could technically be necromany, shadow magic, fel magic, demonoligy and so on.

Also since this is just ideas, we don't need a map. However you need to specify for which map type the hero is supposed to be in.

I just don't feel like adding lore, mana cost, cooldown and so on. When people want ideas they are just after the actual tooltip, it's impossible for me to balance a map I don't even know. In the end I am just gathering the designs so I can post them later when people request ideas ^^

You shouldn't consider how good you are before you get a drawing tablet. The main concern would be how much you enjoy drawing. Your skill will always become better.

However, it's not impossible to draw with a mouse, u can draw well enough, of course if u have at hand a tablet, it's even better.
For example, NFWar drew most of his wonderful icons using a mouse.
I also use a mouse to draw my icons and i haven't killed it yet.
There are few others who draw with a mouse too.

I have an old image I drew in MS paint using my mouse and I'd like to avoid doing it again x) It takes some time switching the brush size manually all the time.

About the galaxy tab you mentioned. I've never drawn on those kind of tablets, so I'm quite clueless exactly how they work. Like if they sensor pressure or not :>

I'd suggest that you try to get a tablet, since they allow you to use pen pressure and transparency on brush settings, which gives really nice lines. I've seen your stuff and I'm surprised that you use mouse for 'em. I don't think I would be able to do that myself x)

Yes, JASS is easy. Especially if you have a programming background. I'd suggest you experiment around with GUI first however.

Skin it on a chaplain model instead of priest. Then you could base the icon there. This should be it This Image instead he skinned it on a priest, skinned it to a chaplain. This image will give you what it will look like.
