  • Ah, right. I remember talking about that some time ago. Well, it's not a model, but skin. Downloaded it from this site years ago. I did change the model a bit myself, but only minor; like changing particle effects and stuff.
Would you be so kind to atleast check out my newest map, its so embarrassing that it didn't have any downloads for the last hour :fp:http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/m...2011-a-207989/
Also, that is a 'ho ho ho' related map.

Mkay, though you should post those wips at the development thread, I didn't even now that they are already wips.
Hey sorry about not replying when i was on the other day, my internet was acting wierd and pages where only connecting 50% of the time at best.

Map work is going alright, I wanted to be farther done by now but some RL things have been slowing me down.

I can have a WIP map for you tommorow.
Your username cannot be spelt like that because it doesnot contain three words in name.
That is why I say just
    Warlord Ajer'laroir, :cgrin:
I was playing RIFT, then they gave in to noobs like Blizzard so I quit. I played PS3 for the last few months mostly, Black Ops, Deus Ex, inFamous. Playing minecraft, my buddy runs the #1 Minecraft server in the world, Ruin SMP, so I've been helping out with that, too.

Also, we (Ruin, that is) are planning on creating our very own MMORPG, where we will have control over whether or not noobs get their way >.>

Working. New apartment. Working. Minecraft duties. Working. Working. Working. Working.
Just open the model file (.mdx) in a text editor (I used notepad).

You will get mostly garbage (as it is a binary file) but all the material paths are still redable (as they are in ascii). Material paths are located at the top of the file and will be like the only redable text you can see. Just look for ones which are not part of normal WC3 and those will be the paths to give your textures.

If you download the models from the Models section you can see all the texture paths from the resource page.
not to well been working on test maps to see how to make the game better like skins, terrain, models and icons, its broken into parts.
other wise OIC is at stand still
It was because you did not bother setting the correct texture paths so the models failed to load.

    Here
Hmmmm you can either manually attach the weapon by editing a model, or you can do it in object editor or in the trigger editor :b
You seriously haven't imported anything to your map before?!? What are you even doing on Hive dude? :D

Maybe hand the map to me and I'll fix? - I think it's a bit complicated to explain how to import :b
custom path of everything = (remove war3mapimprted\) in the import manager in WE, then save
I'm just happy to be part of projects, so I don't mind have some work to do (Except if it's school work) :b
Eh well, school-project is fucking my life up right now - At friday I must present my subject to the class, and I'm not near done yet! :C

About the terrain-project, I haven't started yet (Because I simply don't have time right now), I will start (And finish) in next week :]
I don't mind, but i don't know how precisely may i be of help... if you wish then ok, just send the map and some more details about what should i do... although i must say in my country it's already 9PM so i can't do much at this late hour.
I suppose so.. depends on what actually are you referring? As far as i know importing is just a few clicks so it's not quite some complex action... just takes time when it's about setting certain paths to skins or icons, etc.
you need to Open the Zip document first, than export every single texture and model by itself...
