These item types will no longer take up regular inventory slots, but will instead have a "special inventory". This is a pretty huge quality of life improvement which enables you to play around with more spell items and consumables.

Although it's organized, not sure if it can properly be used in combat due to slow reaction time of the triggers.

None of the special inventory items are intended for combat! :) Key items are quest and story related, scrolls are for identifying spells in the hub area, and old tomes are used to unlock some lore pages in a library
