Hmm, wasn't exactly the kind of terrain I had in mind for the Dragon's Spine, but looks better actually.

Big place it is with hellish variations. Besides volcanic lands are hardly natural thus magical explanation might be required. Though I do think that phrase "dark magic" is redundant for all magic is same as its the way person learns to use it that differentiates it.

I think the phrase is still valid, but all down to perspective. If you think creating a Shade of yourself that kills people is good, then any magic used against that could be classified as dark magic to that person.

Can be called but not classified....and yes must admit I see "good" possibilities with that spell.
