@Hazop sc2 editor took me..... 9 years? to learn how to use it as much as I can now lol (ive been lucky to have played with the galaxy editor so much since wings of liberty came out, even before you were 'supposed' to have it.. it was in the pre order WoL beta directory before the games launch and before the short cut to open it worked, you needed to type a /.exe in the shortcut...lol... my 2 maps are currently, ''Civilization Collapse Simulator'', a science fiction themed map and ''Mur'loc Island Survival 2'' a warcraft themed one [my main map currently], both of which are on the arcade (but one is a private upload, host-able only by me) even if they are both kind of ghetto and taste like half finished medical experiments... ive greatly enjoyed this large amount of time.

@Battleborn non sense! lol!!! you go through moods! and moods control your maps play and art styles, and what gets devolped, its good to swap around, even if you devote 75% of your effort to one over the other, different maps come across different problems and it teaches you more stuff. and if you get stuck, and really cant fix something, swap to the other map! for example, in one map, I learned a lot about carrier interceptor's ''attack'' (its very complicated but basically its the reason they fly around like birds/insects the way they do [I was trying to re-create crypt lords locust swarm]) and in the other map at the same time in the same day, I had to learn about something called ''Kinetics'' which are kind of like warcraft3's ''pushing units around'' trigger, but mostly used on siege tanks attack, and other explosions, which cause bodies to fly around.

Kinetics can also shove units around, not just bodies, and create different shaped unit pathing, meaning a long, narrow

can have a long rectangular ''collision shape'' by making it your self. with math... which is kind of annoying at first. but worth it when surrounded by zerglings. [without said kinetics, zerglings will surround it in a circle, causing some to enter the front and back of the bus, while leaving a giant void space left and right of the buses sides)

can you imagen trying to make a gigantic rectangular collision shape trigger for every unit in a wc3 map? I shudder at the thought.

I don't make wc3 models much any more, i've kind of abandoned warcraft3, il help people with problems once in a while, since I do have a fairly deep understanding of wc3 models and what breaks them because I probably broke them more often then any one, but its kind of...I dunno.... lost my love? (the game engine I mean)
 
@kellym0 Thanks! I plan on making several TCW maps (Tiriath Civil War) A City one, (Telgarde) a Snow Forest/Field, destroyed plains/fields and maybe a trench map
 
You guys have evolved very much to master editors and leave Warcraft behind :)
