Any way to have a food limit higher than 300?

Is there any way at all to bypass the food limit of 300 in Warcraft? I've changed it to a higher value in the gameplay constants (using shift+click) but it won't work ingame. I've also tried changing it via triggers, but that didn't work either.

If those tow didn't work, then you can't. Reduce the food usage of units, so you can have a big army.

Another good idea would be to use integer variables and display them in a leaderboard or multiboard, having units costing 0 food of course.

Thank you for the suggestions. It's not that big of an issue in my current project but in future projects I'll keep your suggestions in mind
