The history of the Hive's predecessor?

Can anyone enlighten me on the history of wc3sear.ch? When and who founded it? What exactly happened to its former web host?

As far as I know, the old leader Darky28 (?) became extremely inactive and somehow gave the site to Ralle.

Darky28 (27 before and 29 after, I believe), who ran WC3Search together with a few others, couldn't keep up with the server costs (at least that was the official story) and resources were moved over to THW because Ralle offered to store it. Eventually, they merged and Ralle took over. That's the brief summary I guess.
