Based on the steyr AUG, the LAR Sta-52 Assault Rifle screams for badassness of epic proportions.
This is the helghast rifle from Killzone 2, reference image:
The texture is 100% hand drawn. Modeled in 3ds max 5.
EDIT: I know i skipped the wooden barrel handle, but i just didn't think it was needed.
There is also a helghast model comming for this soon.

Great models! I have tried to make weapons (M4, STeyr Aug etc.), but they look like toys.

Tip: If you optimize it with MdlVis, the size will be reduced to... 17 Kb. Look:

Mdlvis is a russian model editor. Something incredibly light and powerfull. I have made a tutorial for a french forum about Worldedit, but it is not translated for now

I only have death animation left on the banshee, but i have lots of homework +other models i'm working on, so i wont expect it to be uploaded just yet.
I'm going to prague in 2 weeks, after that i might pick up some of those models that i've put on hold.

That is what i said, but submission rules state that it has to be angled along the x-axis. On this specific gun i compromised and gave it a slight tilt. Nevertheless, it attaches to my helghast and german soldier, and evel jackal models properly so i don't understand what you're whining about.
