As a suggestion, great for those in need. but always thought the brightness was important to highlight them, i think the ideal would be to just reduce the size of the effect in animations a little more ...

Always hated Hero Glow, and too many custom models were created with it. Love the option to remove it.

I was referring to the hero glow being replaced by that:
The green and red "pixelated" area around the heroes are the added hero glow.

Doesn't seem to work anymore. Imported it, set it to HD mode, and changed the file path, but no luck.

Not this, it's an imported asset.
But you can use an Ability with the glow model set as it's Art and disable/enable the ability. Or rely on a Special Effect.
[Import] - In the Reforged World Editor, is it possible to add Hero Glow to a unit without importing a model?
Hi all, Not much more to add other than I'm trying to minimize the number of imports I need for my map, so if it is at all possible without importing anything, I'd be very down to give it a try. Thanks!
