-The first one is inspired by the Borodino Class of the imperial russian navy.

I tried using the spell animation, as the base spell I used fire bolt, but when I cast the spell the animation doesn't fully play, so it ends up as the ship doing a quick nudge then firing..

Yeah the animation is quite long. Therefore, if it is moving or attacking just after the spell, the animation will reset. I could reduce the delay of the animation but the firing would be very fast and weird.

For the German dreadnought, how do I make it that attack to plays the alternate attack?

The gun turrets on the German one should be more distinguishable from the upper deck, maybe a slight different brighter texture more similar to the barrels?

Yeah I could use a little more variation around the upper turrets. My main problem is the TC. I've the feeling, the boat is lacking some.

As you did not make the model entirely by yourself and because the animations are very basic this will go straight to substandard.
