zombie2279: It basically looks like a yellow line with a loooot of smaller smudge parts coming out from it. The color scheme is simple, the idea is not exactly creative and the whole thing is a bit too random. I'd basically advise you to completely rework the whole thing, starting with adding a cloud, maybe more clouds in the bg or above the lightning and then making the lightning come out from around them. Then add minor, sub-lightnings near and/or attached to the main thing, to make it more detailed. I'd also suggest using a blue color to do the base and maybe adding only a small, opaque yellow to it, for the sake of realism, but adding an orange or a red tone would also be good if you're aiming to make it a "sun" lightning. Also, remove the entirely un-fitting smudge lines. Don't forget to sharpen the DIS.
