Next to that, it does not really look like a pup or wolf at the moment.
However, put more contrast concerning the colours between head and body.

Here, i drew over it to give my opinion on what it should look like to fit more into wc3 and to be more cutsie puppy like instead of fresh black newborn pug dog :/ (no offense)
i had trouble with the legs and stuff, but yeah. just add some more cartoony dog like features like ears or a tail or a tongue.
From what i can tell you traced over an image with bad perspective that made the legs look small.

You may want to change the glow around it to a brighter color such as white or lime green. It's a bit hard to see.
