On? I think highlights and shading on the blue part ruins the 'glow' it is supposed to have, and the wood is pretty well shaded in my own opinion, i just REALLY hate my own background lol

Make the middle of metal more white, and the corners fade out to blue, and increase contrast in the background. Also the handle does not seem to be wood, more detail on that should do the trick. Anyways, a great idea for an axe, looks very "draenei". Looking forward to see changes, if you decide to edit it.

try add "crystality" to the edge and make it more glass, also reduce color (more seal\white\lightblue). The wooden part need be a bit more lighten, cuz it looks same as a background. Also, the background is less here, u can remove it.
