It seems pretty good guy. Only try to give more constrate on the golden part to enhance the gold effect.

Very interesting angle, needs a little bit more definition and some details on the handle. Then this will look great!

Interesting Icon
Althought swords are common icons, I like this one for its good shape and details.
This can also be used in many ways, 'cause of the black background which, while the most of the other sword icons I have seen have a colored one, useful for skills and abilities,
makes this very versatile

I like the fact that yo also added a little story to this, damn.

good job anyway, could be one of the most blizzlike sword icons i've seen here and there.
