Sin'dorei300: Submitted Icon Resources have to be at least 50% freehand work. Filter works and copy-pasting are not considered freehand content.

He means the original size of the image. Usually icon creators do not work on the icon's size of 64x64, but on 256x256 or 512x512 to draw better details.

However, the rule state you have to draw freehand, if this icon was created with tools and apps and not with actually drawing freehand, then I fear it won't be approved :/

You might want to think about submitting it in the http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/requests-341/hives-simple-edit-resources-thread-266899/ instead.

Yes, this kind of icon is not approved here. Hive icon rules aim for the creation of freehand icons.

Imagine you take a brush and draw this, then it would be approved.
Using tools, apps or scripts is not considered freehand and therefore it will not be approved.

That's obviously i'm pointing, You used a wallpaper and slapped it as an Icon using the button manager.
