Aye, another first terrain. Tho it's not that much of a terrain more like a scene.

I agree with Nudl9, you should only place a couple of bubbles. Also the seaweed looks bad, I don't like that model, I suggest using a different doodad.

Graveyard Commentary
  • The graveyard is very flat. Add some hills.
  • Not only is this a flat graveyard, but I think it is a bit too small to be a graveyard. Though, if this were a playable map you're actually working on, this can be excused.
  • You used only one grass tile throughout the entire map. No tile variation is a very, very big no-no in terraining. Can only be excused maybe if it were an indoor terrain such as the interior of a house.
  • The fog should be given more depth.
  • Surrounding the graveyard with cliffs is a very bad idea. Get rid of it.
  • Add a couple flowers in front of some of the grave stones. It'd make it look more formal and give it a sense of purpose.
Overall, I did not like this terrain very much. In almost all aspects, this could be improved. The use of environmental doodads is good, so I'll pass that one off of the list.

Also, next time when you take screenshots of your terrain, do it while in the World Editor! No body likes in-game screenshots unless if it is mod.

A good terrain.

I don't like the rock hill though. A normal hill would have been better probably.

Oh and you need a fog. If you add a fog and improve the hill +rep!

Some of the objects in your newer terrains, such as the mountain terrain have floating objects. The rocks in this case are the main problem.

There are objects also floating in the indoor terrain, mainly on top of the desk (The golden grail and books) have floating objects. I recommend you fix this, since it has a bad outlook on your terrain in the end.

You're getting better, I think, with terraining, but you just need to learn to fix a lot of mistakes you make as you go along terraining maps.

I'm liking #3, #4 is too bare though, plus it doesn't have any athmosphere, and #5 has them fugly Lordaeron rocks.
The indoor scenes look okay to me, and so does the hobbit-house one terrain-wise anyway. The latter needs some fog I think, or something in the background and/or a better camera angle.

Maybe the rocks were better. Hard to decide.

The last one is great. The little cottage. Reminds me of a hobbit hole slightly.
