Hello Community!

I'd like to get this to work properly. A hero enters a burned down village with dead bodies all around. When the hero enters the village, the dead come alive and starts to attack the hero.

How does one create a "corpse" of a e.g. a Zombie unit that doesn't decay but simply remains "paused" at the end stage of the unit's death animation and/or the start of the unit's birth animation (for a more smooth transition)?

And then to unpause and trigger it's birth animation when a unit comes close and attack the triggering unit.

Any help is much appreciated!

Pause your zombies, set Animation speed to zero and make them play birth animation. When your hero enters the scene, set animation speed to 100% and wait till animation is complete (2.33secs), then unpause them. Added a test map.
EDIT: You could add and remove locust ability for a better effect.
