I'm working on a wooden skyscraper. It's three stories tall, but I want to build it to the clouds. Or something. I wonder if I can avoid rain when I'm above the clouds?

I'm just a newb on minecraft just started last week (not so creative right now) but this is my house, it have 2 purely gold floors and one purely gold attic. Behind it I got a pretty large farm with 30+ cows, sugar canes and wheats. I'm planning to extend my farm since I just realize there is a huge empty space 100+ blocks away from my house with lots of animals xD.
