but i'd have to say.... Unholy War was one of my favorite games of the past :p hehe

and spell would have to be...Armageddon from M&M 7

LoL! just guessing, so you really want good spells in old games, hmm I'll think some more, back on my childhood, I did play tons of really good fantasy-medieval games that has alot of spells. well gonna check right now

what your seeing here are crafting system (same as recipe system), potion, spell, passive etc, effects and so on, the best old rpg game ever!


I could not find a good gameplay for the age of wonders, all these games are a total badass before warcraft's franchise had outpassed all of them.
 
I never played any Mario games, ever.

Commence rage.

Super Mario 3 has to be my favorite platformer games ever. The newer side scrolling marios games are getting closer, but they still don't catch the awesomeness that was Mario 3. Also gotta love all the secrets in it, I remember always getting pretty pissed when I lost the Tanooki suit because of carelessly running into chain chomp or something
