Help me Cyber...
I'm going to replace them all here, they seem too generic.
The Duke made me think of him as a moral guy, so all of his abilities are basically based on moral! xD

~Inspire (Active) - Increases Moral of all units in a nearby radius by (xx) per level
~Nobility (Passive) - Moral drop of nearby units is decreased by (xx) percent
~Righteous Strike (Active) - Deals (xx) damage. (xx) depends on the overall moral of Baron Lightbringer + (yy). (yy) being the moral of the closest 4 units divided by 3
~Glory of the Emporer (Active) - All nearby units have their moral increased by 60 and damage increased by 25% for the next 45 seconds.

That's it!

Use mana as moral. (0-100) All units have a negative mana (moral) regeneration rate. Things such as the inspiration aura can slow down/reverse that degradation. The only possible problem would be all the triggering necessary could cause lag, especially with a 256x256 map during a major battle or battles in terms of fighting increasing moral. You'd be bettter off letting it all drop unless a hero is nearby. Let Inspiration Aura be a passive for all heroes.

~For the hero types:
King
-Duke
-Count
-Baron

Rebel Leader (need name)
-3 names such as " -- the shadowwalker"

The Nuetral players are all "Lords"

I agree it's a good idea, but what about spells?

I agree it's a good idea, but what about spells?

The spells drain Moral. The units/heroes spells cost Moral. Hero moral regenerates quickly by default, as they must be the source of inspiration. Note that heroes have 0-1,000 Moral. If their moral drops below 250, they lose their Inspiration Aura.

If that's too complex, then just don't let Hero abilities cost Moral [mana]. Let the cooldown be the cost.

Screenshot doesn't work.
Maybe you could refit the descriptions of Feedback and Mana Burn to attack morale (somehow). Feedback as morale-draining attack I could see as working for a ghost or particularly horrifying creature.
He could just create a new spell alltogether BASED on Feedback (haven't used the editor much, have you :p). But if this were to be made, it might as well affect all units within a specified or sight range. Makes it more realistic, afterall it wouldn't just terrify the unit it was attacking

Can you upload the Sc to Photobucket and post it? :(

LOL!
Maybe you should recruit a terrainer?
Terraining 256x256 is scary by ones own

the darkness thing could be done by using the night/day cicle and setting the units night vision as very low
and for unit ideas:
the rebels can be item crafters and stuff, that u need to supply each knd of unit with items
. fanatic: suicide explosive unit :requieres bomb
. bandit: each kill gives u items/money :requires dagger
. recluiter: make nearby cityzens fight for u for a period of time. :requieres megaphone or somthing like that
. assasin: each has a chance to slow/disorient the target :requieres robe

king units
. aphotecary: explosives with area poisoning.
. commander: can summon guards.
. tax recorder: gives periodic money but lowers morale.

these as special units, then u have the vanilla ones

By the way Orange, use canopy trees in your map. They look better and 'cover' more space.

If you need rivers (non-cliff) I can do that quickly for you. They look better. Just mark where you want the rivers to be (or don't want them), or I could just make the rivers for you.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. This is CastleBuilder Multirace 4.1 [IceCrown], done by Funness (original author), Crabby_Spider and myself (editors/'co-authors'). The terrain was almost entierly done by myself. In particular, note the waterfalls in the north and the rivers throughout the map. The rivers can be crossable if desired. Note, that redoing terrain after doing what I need to do will no longer be possible. You'll need a whole new map, so either keep a base copy for yourself (and create a variety of terrains) or make sure you really like what you now have.
