Word problem

I've searched some sites.. couldnt find it.. i have a problem with word

'' I select a text and then press backspace, and it only brings the cursor thingy back to the selected text. It does not DELETE the text as it should do, i can also use delete but thats very annoying ''

Any help on this?

yeh this happened to me all the time on microsoft word, you have to change the setting in the option panel of word, it saysing something like "backspace deletes text" with a checkbox.

There is no such thing as 'options'

it has: File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Table, Window and Help.

Go to Tools > Options.

I searched every check box, then did it 3 times over .. i cant find it >.<

By the way: If you wiki something (in Dutch) and CnP it you got the change to get something else then your wanted text =)

go to tools>options>edit and tick "typing replaces selection"

took me like 3 seconds to find.
