Woodforest

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Map info: I will begin to explain a bit about gold mines and stuff, gold mines you start with has 12500 gold and expansion gold mines have 40000 gold. The map has only two Goblin Merchants .

Features : map does not have as many monsters but is great place to build a base and the map is not designed to send very large armies but it is mostly to make good protections view you see it that way. and the map has two gold mines for players to begin with , but the expansion mines there are two mines off.

Some more stuff about map: This map is made mostly to protect the base and sending a few warriors to battle. A good tactic is to set towers nearby the mountain to protect te base against flying enemies.

Screenshots and Videos: ( cooming soon)

Change Log : I have not updated the map yet but I'm going to do nor I start to get some ideas. My updates is that I have deleted water and I have make the creeps have artifacts.

Credits : I 've spent some days in this but to look at the future I'm going to make melee maps alone.

Author's notes : The map is a kind melee defense because the map is not as great way to fight but you can get much gold to fight with. The most of he description have been updated.

1. The terrain is very small for the game. You can expand the playable area, I guess.
2. The market places are of no use. You can just replace them or create a path so it can be useful.
3. Most of the terrain is really flat.
4. Expansion goldmines should be guarded with red creep camps while starting locations, for just a two-player map, should not be guarded by creeps.
5. Do not use cliffs as these ruin the beauty of the terrain.
6. You should visit here to see the beautiful terrains created by our terrainer to understand how to terrain a map.
7. Do not be in a hurry, we always have ample of time to develop our maps.

At this point, I vote for rejection due to so many things that needs to be fixed.

Short Review

1. The terrain is flat. The use of tile variation is random.
2. Environmental doodads, no props whatsoever are randomly placed.
3. neutral units doesn't fit to the map's environment.
4. There are lack of hostile units. You should have orange and red creep encampment.
5. I see few item drops.

Suggestions
1. Use this for your description: :fp: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/miscellaneous-tutorials-456/map-description-templates-171659/
2. Do more polishing with the terrain by adding some slopes using the raise and lower tools. Add some more tile variations but don't randomize everything.
3. Add environmental doodads and props.
4. Add some neutral units like dogs, birds, etc. This will make your map alive.
5. Add red and orange creep camps.

awaiting updates.

I am not going to give any ratings yet until you have done the suggestions above.

okay we shall make that to and about that whit the animals it was weird , maybe we forgot it. But we shall begin on it.

Yep

I'm not a reviewer but there is my point of view :

Terrain
It is still too flat (only grass) The same tile is used everywhere on the map...
There is random spots with other texture
(Try to creates some path with soil between camps and gold mines) Use various types of grass
I like the idea with the rock at the middle, player have to choose a path
You can creates small terrain deformations

Doodads
I think (it's subjective) there is too much animals
Not enought doodads for a land like plants, or grass or stones (I think)
Only trees and flags....

Shops
Why there is only shops in the water? (just a simple question)

Finally I think the terrain is too desert so armies can't takes advantage of the terrain
