[WIP] Fel Guard

i wanted to make a fel guard skill and came across this problem, how do i erase not needed spots so it doesnt show on the model? like i erase the background on this model and it shows up as a white square on the model, then i fill it with green and it doesnt work...

and any ideas on improving this model? i wanted to make like a dragon knight and uses a spear, armor materials are metal and gold.

cuz i only want it to show the spear, and it shows a whole square for somereason.

for ex. the erased background part are meant to be invisible.

you are using filters -_-'

You need to find out how to use alphas in that otherwise your skin will never show up right in game
Alphas are the only way to get rid of that square

Like a wise man once told me:

posting an unwrap means nothing. You can paint a buitifull unwrap, but if you put it on the model and it looks like shit, its useless. Think again.

no i didnt even use one filter on this skin, its all blending and textures

I think he's right. He just put a big texture overtop on screen; maybe overlay. It's not a filter. It's pretty similar, but technically not a filter.
