WIP: Blue Jaina

I want some critique on how this looks, it's only half done (I've done the robes). Don't mind the cloak, it's retarded because it's something I started on in another, shittier program. The rest is made in Photoshop CS3.

looks really weird and sloppy. It looks like you recolored, added worthless gleams, and smudged really crappy highlights. Seriously, read up on some tutorials.

Well, thanks for that insight. I didn't use smudge at all, didn't recolor either. Everything is done from scratch. And fuck tutorials, they aren't all they're cracked up to be, especially for things like this.

Honestly, do you even take time to check the original unwrap before you post your shit? If you look at the original, you will see I didn't fucking recolor it at all. I kept some original lines on the cloth and that's it.

Furthermore, I don't even see what you're talking about. It doesn't look sloppy at all to me.

Still looks to similar to the original Jaina and has much too many unessasary highlights. She looks like one of the guys from 'Sweet'. ^^

obviously ur not willing to learn? since u cant be fucked reading tutorials u wont progress unless u follow each little tips and tutorials. also think before u skin what made u skin jaina to a neon blue do u even have a theme. and yeh it is sloppy...

As much as I dislike the harsh way elfsilver lord gave his critique, I agree. Its WAY to shiny and even the shine isnt done very well. Tutorials are your friends and you should listen to them along with peoples advice.
