[General] Why is my terrain doing this? (INFO INSIDE)

ok so im changing some terrain in my map, basically whenever i try to turn certain spots of land into water they will turn into square blocks of land, here is a screen shot cause the explanation sucks. how do i fix this?

Somehere, i think under Advanced tab, there's a "Enforce Water Height". It makes it look like that. Enable/Diable it.

did you do the thing where you deep water then build over it then lower the terrain into the water? if so did you do it in the middle section as well? this happened to me on edges where the deep water wasn't placed I raised the edges where it happened and it smoothed out.

err sorry read tthat wrong, what i did was deep water then used raise tool to make the land.

tried this already. it did not work.

its used to fix (cover) the square...mabe you did shallow the water and add cliffs...

you shouldn't use deep water when you're trying to make rolling shores.

if you want deep water lower the cliff height by one, and then use shallow water.

my whole map is made from deep water, i used the raise tool for it.

fixed it, i copy some of the other water and pasted it over the messed up spot.
