As title said, it is perfectly playable on Normal graphics.

Crashes at loading screen on Reforged Graphics.

Any ideas or tips? Stuck here for 3 months :(

If your map has any imported models or textures, as a test try removing all of them and check if the crash still happens. Reforged graphics might not play well with some custom assets, especially older ones that might be slightly malformed files.

The amount of video memory Reforged requires to play a custom map depends on how many unique textures and models the custom map uses/loads. As such custom maps with a lot of asset diversity have been known to cause Warcraft III to crash on systems with low video memory GPUs. Lowering texture quality in your graphic settings should help you if you are suffering from this issue. This is more likely on systems with 4 GB or less of video memory. It is less likely on systems with 8 GB or more of video memory.

Updating your graphic drivers and restarting your computer might help in the case your loaded graphic driver is malfunctioning and causing Warcraft III to error. Although this is still worth doing just in case, the chances of it fixing the issue are slim.

My computer is top of the line, so is my friends (Beta tester).

Really weird but when I host with Reforged graphics game just crashes at random for either of us or one of us don't get in at all. (Stuck at loading screen.)

Has to be something with assets or the map terrain/doodads. I'm looking into it now and will update here if things are fixed.

Like I said, works fine on Normal Graphics. I might also add everything worked perfectly fine before the Patch in August 1.33.

I'm gonna give this another shot to fix since we've put in 6 months of time to make this awesome multiplayer map would be shame for it to go waste.

Any tips are welcome you guys are our last hope.

Make a copy of your map and straight up delete a bunch of stuff from it. Imports, destructables, terrain, resetting OE data, resetting gameplay constants, etc.. See if it loads. If no, repeat and delete another bunch of stuff. When you finally delete whatever stops it from loading in Reforged, backtrack and think about what you deleted. Try to narrow it down.

If you save new copies along the way it'll be easier to figure out what it is. I would recommend a first pass just deleting/resetting almost everything just to see if you can confirmed get it to load.

Removed all doodads and suddenly its working, could it be I have too much stuff on the map ?

3200 doodads is that a lot?

To be honest I think its something to do with memory I dont know map just overloads and boom, tried different stuff.

Is there a work around for this? Any thoughts guys?

It should not be memory related with 64 GB of DDR5 and a RTX 4090... ("top of the line")

Since deleting doodads fixed it, I would suggest deleting only some of the doodads until you can find a correlation as to which, or a better estimate as to how many, cause the problem.

If any custom models or textures are used by some of the doodads, consider starting with them as third party custom models have been known to cause crashes or stability issues in the past.

Dunno, mine has like 6k destructible (trees mostly) and it works fine (at least until end-game...)

BTW, I've got random crashes with reforged graphics by some weather effects (rain\snow). If weather creates in map initialization - that could be an issue you've looking for.
