Why can't this just be transparent

Hey I've attached a small model file and a .tga image that goes with it for a pseudo floor I'm trying to put in my map.

The problem is the area between the bars appears transparent when I preview the .tga file, but when I load it into magos or WE the transparency is not retained.

Mad rep for anyone who can repost a transparent version of this or tell me the steps to take to do it.

But I do fear that... there is something wrong with my blp factory :(

I've never had problem with transparency in the past
