please move this to the fan art section. I think that section is probably more appropriate. It's very confusing which section to put this into >.>

Photoshop CS6
Art Rage 4
Manga Studio 5 Pro Ex

???

Furthermore, for animation, I'm really liking how Spriter looks, but what would everyone suggest?

Spriter
Toon Boom
Anime Studio 9

Toon Boom and Anime Studio 9 are like the hardcore ones, especially Toon Boom, but creating sprites with them are more workarounds like creating 2D game art with Photoshop : \. They weren't built for that. Spriter on the other hand can do the stuff very quickly and was built for that.

For the graphics tablet, I'm getting a wacom intuos 5 (since there is no news about an Intuos 6 coming out any time soon). The art tools should work with the Intuos 5 ;o.

Anyways, thanks for your time all =). If anyone knows of any other good art programs out there that can save a lot of time for 2D game art, please suggest. I hope to do plain 2D and isometric. Eventually, I'll move to 3D stuff for 2.5D games ;D.
