what is this chaos theory?

i this liek a forum discussing the importance of universal randomness which is chaos theory or is it some kind of map. please do tell.

its sought of like a mapping clan, except not actualy a clan. Its basicly a gorup of people who like making maps, that will help eachothers projects if they need it and so on.

yeh we used to have a hive clan here, but we realised we dont actually play the game enough to keep active. so the clan closed.

and chaos theory is an intresting idea, it definatly has some good points but i dont like alot of the examples they use to explain it.

perhaps, instead of making a real clan, you would prefer to be called a group. so in games u are like -CT- Bob27 but u dont actually have a clan set up. i think me ralle and malufa (and roadkill) had to do that for a while when we had no members.

Well we a group. I was just using clan as an exmaple since we are almost the same as a mapping clan. We might however make a clan if we get enough members. And The Darkness is talking about when we were trying to make a clan, which failed. So we made this group but couldn't be bothered coming up with a new name.

no u won't have 2 rename yourself on b.net. This group has almost got nothing to do with b.net anyway, its simply a map making group in a forum, but we won't make a clan since i'm already in clan 40k.

I'm against making it into a clan, as that kinda muddles the whole mapping thing, also I thought I saw you, bob, say somewhere that this wasn't just for people who like to map for war3, but also for people who mod other games, so unless you where going to have a multi-game clan it would get a bit weird.

i think the guy who made tank commanders is the best mapper ever. he is great at it. sounds like u made ur guy up and using the excuse of things getting stolen as a cover nah jokes, i believe he exists......sorta.....

Yeah, I do not remember ever seeing his name on any of the earlier maps. Maybe he is just an editior and not a maker, like all the maps that were stolen from me and my friends.

I've heard of MMG_God before. But I don't think i've played any maps by him. And if your talking about that World of Arda forum then I thought they banned you and u hated that place.

MMG is an Under-Admin who has bailed me out of about 5 IP bans already

MMG never stole a map in his life... The only one someone worked on before him was Ringwars, and he took over that from the previous maker... I know if u play a recent RW ull be like "This is Shit" but thts because after v (23?) Zanda started work from an old batch so alot of work wwas done... not that i blame him RW was sorta dying at that stage with noone at all working on it for about 2 years....

Anyway. Ill upload some of MMG's maps here for yall to enjoy .... well ive only got 1... damned reformatting constantly!!

Yes, people have taken maps from me and my friends before. In fact, Rasmus stole one of our original maps and used it for the basis of his warhammer TD. Bad Rasmus! Oh well, past is past and we should have thought to encrypte it, but at the time we never thought people would do that (hey, the game was new, cut us some slack) and, to be fair, about 300 other people stole it as well and claimed full credit. That is what pisses me off, when they say they made it.

Yeah, and I couldn't prove I'd made my stuff either, and seeing as there was two of them and one of me. Well, lets just say they got full credit, though they didn't take the project anywhere, as they didn't have the skills.
