just registered here as Archian.

im an "old school" mapmaker, have been mapping ever since the game came out. However after a long break, away from Warcraft III i've started mapping once again.

Currently a member of Clan WEnW, a clan which exsist of expert mapmakers or other fans of WC3.

Were just looking around and chose to register.

i didn't mean anything negative with my previous post, it was more like a complement for your clan i supose, and it wasn't to start a discussion of which clan who's the best.

however we are a mapmakeing clan.

about the rules thing, then i've PM rasmus (ralle) about a global moderator position, and im well aware of the rules of a forum (the rules that usally are made)
this forum however could use a "no flaming" rule, if it has't already got one.

As for the flamming we have got a rule against it. If you've seen any flaming tell me and i'll get rid of it.

And about Global Moderator position I have decided that he can show us all what hes like for one or two weeks. Then he can become a moderator for a catergory, forum. He does look very respectable though and seems very nice.

some how, im glad that you didn't make me a global moderator to begin with, in case you had, you would have proved to me that you are a "good willing" fool and that you weren't a "wise" person afterall, notice that you didn't

anyway when the time comes, and if i've proved worthy i'll be glad to take the task as a global moderator (if it comes to that), i'll make sure no one violates any rules and don't worry, you can trust me.

Yes it will take a long time before I would be willing to even discuss a moderator position with you. It is not as simple as Bob makes it sound, there is a lot more involved than merely waiting a week, it is something that us current mods have to feel comfortable with first and foremost. Then comes the testing, then the initiation, then we might let you in. We have had many problems from when Ras allowed just about anybody become a mod, we suddenly lost many posts and there was flaming and threats going on.

Hopefully that will not happen again Still, I hope you feel welcome here and will be an active member of the forum even if you do have your own guild.

I have no idea how I managed to become an admin when i'm the mod thats been here for the least time atm. But our members list has at least tripled since I joined.

hey man nice to meet u, good luck with getting into the mod place! it would be nice to get to know a bit about you first, as malufa has said we have had the odd problem but please, for now, forget about that. just hang out and enjoy. also remember this isnt just a mapping and gaming forum, feel free to chat about anything and everything (within limits ) and if your intrested check out the weird philosophies and ideas section. dont let the name put you off, its more of a place to chat about anything science based, belief based or unusual new/facts. on top of that, chat about yourself and your intrestests in the lobby!

my background story however are kind of long, but i'll tell you some of it once i have enough time

This northrend realm clan is made solely for the purpose of creating maps. Members consist of map-makers, or anyone interested in the world editor. The name of the clan originates from a time when our maps were always full of bugs, we blamed it on the world editor. Since then our skill has evolved greatly, but the name of the clan remains.
