[General] weird Damage per second

DMG: 78000
Cooldown: 0.05

unit h027
DMG: 550000
Cooldown: 0.5

then it is obvious that h02A is stronger than h027 in DPS
but when i tried it. used both to attack 2 structures with same hp and armor, h027 is stronger

anyone can tell me why?

That is probably because of other factors, Animation times, agility, attack speed bonuses...

I tried it too.
unit h02A should hit the target 20x in 1 sec.

unit h027 should hit the target 2x in 1 sec.

So:
Fast attack - 78000 * 20 = 1560000
Slow attack - 550000 * 2 = 1100000

Fast dmg > slow dmg

I tried with 0.05 at cooldown.
The fast Unit needed 3 secs longer to kill the unit (1million hp 100 def (86%reduction)).
Then i added an item ability with 50% faster attackspeed to the fast Unit.

And then both units (fast and slow) killed the unit at the same time. (Maybe not 100% since i used integer, but roughly).

So if you enter 0.05 cooldown - its not exactly 0.05.

(I play often Vamp Speed and im kinda good, my acc is proTec.X.RaZZor at Europe)

You lot seem to be forgetting that the maximum a unit can attack without attack speed modifiers is 10 times per second. The map maker must have been really stupid not to know that...

unit h02A

You do the maths...

Anyway, attack speed can boost this 0.1 attack rate. The fastest I recorded (max attack rate with +400% faster attack (max)) is 45-46 attacks per second (theretical is 50 this means that there is some other limit). Otherwise the fastest unmodified attack rate for units is 10 attacks per second
